There is one number to remember before the work is quoted, and it does not move.

Describe the symptom in your own words. If it is something you can put right yourself in ten minutes at the panel or the breaker, we will say so and there is nothing to pay. That happens often enough to be worth mentioning first.

$80, flat, for the diagnosis
A flat $80 covers the visit and the diagnosis, and it comes off the bill if you go ahead with the repair. It is the same figure whether the fault takes ten minutes to find or an hour, and it is the same figure at either end of the service area.

The repair is quoted before it starts
You get the price in writing before any part is ordered or any tool comes out of the bag. If the answer is that the appliance is not worth repairing, we will tell you that too, and you will have paid the diagnostic and nothing else.
What do the repairs themselves cost?
The diagnostic is $80, flat, and it comes off the bill. After that, the repairs we are actually called out to in Mandarin land between $180 and $1,080, parts and labour together. The firm figure is written down after the diagnosis and before anything is ordered.

When is it cheaper to replace it?
A comparable Wolf range, rangetop or wall oven, appliance only — before delivery, installation, ventilation or cabinetry. National appliance pricing, not Florida labour.

Ranges, not quotes. Two ovens with the same symptom can part company on the part number, and a retrofit opening can add an hour before a tool comes out of the bag. Nothing is ordered until the figure is in writing.
The details people ask about
- Is the fee per appliance or per visit?
- Per appliance. If the range and the hood above it are both misbehaving and both need diagnosing, that is two diagnoses. If one fault explains both, it is one. The diagnostic comes off the bill either way once you approve the work.
- Does the fee change on a Saturday or further out?
- No on both. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. Saturday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Closed Sunday. The Saturday rate is the weekday rate, and inside the 25 miles we cover the figure does not move with distance. There is no out-of-hours premium because there are no out-of-hours.
- What if the part has to be ordered?
- You get the price in writing before any part is ordered or any tool comes out of the bag. The second visit to fit it is inside that price, so there is no new diagnostic fee for coming back to finish the same job.
- What if the fault will not show itself while you are here?
- Some faults only appear cold, or only after two hours of baking. If we cannot reach a diagnosis on the first visit we say what the next step is and what it costs before we take it, rather than guessing at a part and charging you for the guess.
- What is covered after the repair?
- Labour is warranted for 90 days and parts for 365 days, and the parts are genuine OEM. The cover is on the work we did and the part we fitted. The warranty page sets out what that does and does not include, in the same words.
